Young At Heart will become a permanent part of the Rock Springs Farmer’s Market

ROCK SPRINGS – There isn’t anything better than a home cooked meal. The familiar smell of something always baking when you go to grandma’s house is something everyone knows. At last weeks Rock Springs Farmer’s Market, a familiar name was welcomed to the event.

Last week, the Young At Heart Senior Center started attending the Downtown Farmer’s Market and they’ll be here the rest of the summer. Rock Springs Main Street Director Chad Banks said if you didn’t get a chance to visit them, be sure and do so.

Each week they’ll have homemade breads and knot rolls including such goodies as banana bread, sweet potato bread, cinnamon raisin, cheesy garlic and jalapeño cheese bread. They’ll also have fresh baked goods like magic bars, cinnamon rolls, lemon squares and sugar free items – all made daily by their talented chefs.
