ROCK SPRINGS – While Santa and Christmas Trees are symbols of Christmas, nothing gets people more excited at Halloween than a good haunted house. The Rock Springs Civic Center is bringing the annual scare back to residents.

This year’s haunted house, the Haunted Penitentiary, starts Oct. 25 and will run until Oct. 31. Admission is .50 cents or one canned food item for children 7-years-old to 12-years-old. Children under seven and over 12 are free but urged to give a canned food item to help the community.

Children under the age of seven must be accompanied by an adult. The Civic Center is also asking that children over 12 also be accompanied by an adult.
