ROCK SPRINGS — The Rock Springs Main Street/URA will celebrate National Volunteer Week in April.  Volunteers are critical to the success of the Rock Springs Main Street/URA’s mission and National Volunteer Week is the perfect opportunity to show them how much they’re appreciated.

To celebrate, the Rock Springs Main Street/URA will host a Volunteer Appreciation Reception on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in their office (501 S Main Street – Historic Train Depot) from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  They’ll have hors d’ouvres and drinks and announce their Volunteer of the Year recipient.  Everyone is invited to the reception but they are asking for RSVPs to 307-352-1434 by April 4.

According to Chad Banks, Main Street/URA manager, volunteers will likely contribute over 3,000 hours to the organization this year alone.  The volunteers are dedicated to the redevelopment of Rock Springs and offer their help to assist with that effort.
