Green River High School Student and Athlete of the Week

Philip Blume was nominated as a Student of the Week by Mr. Colt Klements. Mr. Klements said, “Philip shows up to my class every day with an extremely positive attitude which radiates across the classroom. He always tries to help others when they need it and is one of the most courteous students that I have ever had. On top of this, EVERY DAY Philip wishes me a good evening before he leaves the school.”

AJ Vegara was nominated as a Student of the Week by Mrs. Tori Hemphill. Mrs. Hemphill said, “AJ is a hard worker and he never loses sight of his goals and how to achieve them. He comes to class every day with optimism for learning and a smile.”

Green River High School Student and Athlete of the Week

Abbie Alcorn was nominated as a Student of the Week by Mrs. Tori Hemphill. Mrs. Hemphill said, “Abbie is a very talented writer. She works consistently to improve her skills. In addition to helping herself, she is always willing to help her peers. Abbie recently joined the speech and debate team. This has not distracted her at all. Rather, she has become even more determined to be successful in school.”

Chelsea Maes was nominated as the Athlete of the Week by the administration for winning the 3-point contest during the 2015 Flaming Gorge Classic. Way to go Chelsea!
