ROCK SPRINGS – Every year a large group of Sweetwater County athletes make their way to the Special Olympics. To do this, many need a little help from the public.

One of these opportunities for the public to jump in and make a splash for these Special Olympians takes place April 9 as the annual Jackalope Jump happens at the White Mountain Mall parking lot.

Registration for the event gets underway at 10 a.m. with all the freezing fun starting at 11 a.m.

Awards will be given for the most money raised by an athlete, most money raised overall, most money raised by a group and largest group. Participants will also be battling for the coveted best costume awards.
