Wyoming has a new multi-millionaire! A WyoLottoTM player who purchased a ticket in Evanston, Wyo. is holding a Mega MillionsⓇ ticket worth $5 million. WyoLotto officials are waiting for the winner to come forward and are encouraging players to check their Mega Millions tickets to discover if they’re a winner.
Today, WyoLotto reported that the Mega Millions ticket was purchased on February 25, 2016 at Pilot Travel Center #141 located at 289 Bear River Drive in Evanston. The winner spent a little extra to add the Mega Millions MegaplierⓇ, and reaped the rewards as their winnings multiplied to $5 million.
This is the fourth time WyoLotto has announced a new millionaire since the launch of the lottery in September 2014.
WyoLotto CEO Jon Clontz expressed that he looks forward to days like this. “We love to see our players walk into our offices with a ticket and walk out as millionaires, so today is an incredibly exciting day, and I can’t wait to meet our Mega Millions winner,” he said.
The winning numbers for Tuesday’s Mega Millions draw were 6, 19, 34, 38, and 70. The Megaplier was 5.
