ROCK SPRINGS – The Western Wyoming Community College Mustang Speech and Debate team earned third in the nation (In the Community College Division) at a national tournament held this year at Bradley University in Peoria, IL

These Western Debaters were very successful. Here is a list of their accomplishments:

• Susan Schmid & Sierra Bernal earned Excellence Awards in PF Debate.
• Susan Schmid earns Excellence in Impromptu Speaking
• Steffany Stephenson earns Excellence in Prose Interpretation.
• Susan Schmid earns Gold in IPDA Debate, and Bronze in Impromptu Speaking.
• Steffany Stephenson earns Bronze in Prose Interpretation.
