Rock Springs Elks Lodge Donates $4,500 to Local Organizations

ROCK SPRINGS– Rock Springs Elks Lodge 624 donated a combined total of $4,500 to three local organizations including the Sweetwater County Youth Home, Sweetwater County Food Bank, and VIRS Respite Care.

Rock Springs Elks Lodge 624 donated $2,000 to the Sweetwater County Youth Home. The youth home will use the funds to take their kids to Elitch Gardens in Denver. Many of these kids have never been out of Wyoming.

The Elks Lodge donated $1,000 to the Sweetwater County Food Bank. Last year the food bank served over 1,200 families, which is over 3,000 individuals.

Rock Springs Elks Lodge 624 also donated $1,500 to VIRS Respite Care. This will provide 150 hours of care to residents in Sweetwater County.
