ROCK SPRINGS — Sweetwater County School District No. 1 will host an online presentation to inform residents about the schedules the Alternative Schedule Task Force reviewed and which ones are moving forward.
According to a press release on ParentSquare, District No. 1 assembled an Alternative Schedule Task Force per the Board of Trustees direction to explore solutions to challenges facing the district.
The four main goals set for this task force are as follows:
- Increase student achievement
- Provide professional development and limit teacher time out of the classroom
- Provide uninterrupted collaboration time
- Recruit and retain staff
There will be a presentation at 5 pm on Tuesday, April 21, to share the work accomplished by the task force, the why behind the work, and schedules the task force moved forward to gather input. After the presentation, there will be a link provided for public feedback.
