GILLETTE — The Green River Wolves made the long trek to Gillette for the 2022 state tennis tournament over the weekend.
Green River’s boys team had a strong performance. David Ross and Chris Wilson who made up the second doubles team for the Wolves battled their way to the championship match, but fell to Cody in three sets. Second singles player Korbin Arnell won the consolation championship, taking third at state.
Overall, the boys team finished in fourth place, while the girls team took 12th.
