ROCK SPRINGS — Homecoming fever will hit Rock Springs High School the week of Oct. 5 according to the high school’s homecoming schedule.

The week kicks off with a powderpuff football game Oct. 5 at Tiger Stadium, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday will see the school host a bonfire at the old fairgrounds starting at 7:30 p.m.

The homecoming parade will take place Wednesday at 5 p.m. Parade floats will stage at the RSHS student parking lot starting at 4:15 p.m. The parade will leave the high school and travel down James Drive to F Street before turning onto Broadway. It will continue down Broadway and turn left onto B Street, then turn left onto 2nd Street, continuing back to RSHS on James Drive.

The school will host a pep rally for students and staff Thursday.

Friday’s activities include a volleyball game at Tiger Arena, with the varsity girls hitting the court at 4 p.m., and a 6 p.m. football game at Tiger Stadium against Cheyenne South. 

Saturday will feature the homecoming dance from 7-10 p.m. at the Rock Springs Satellite High School.
