ROCK SPRINGS – Local pro motocross rider David Panzer, #564, was killed in a tragic accident this morning during the High Plains Motocross Association races.

According to a Facebook Post by the Sweetwater County Events Complex, members of the community met at the track around 8:30 p.m. and placed lanterns and solar lamps in memory of David.

The post concluded with, “Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. The club is working to set up a memorial fund and links will be posted both here (Facebook) and on our website (https://www.sweetwaterevents.com) as they become available.”
