ROCK SPRINGS – It takes hard work and dedication to be considered one of the best at what you do. Being one of the nation’s best in nothing new for the Western Wyoming Volleyball team
As the new National Junior College Athletic Association volleyball rankings were released today, Western Wyoming has climbed back into the top ten as they sit in the ninth position. The top four rankings remained the same but Salt Lake Community College, who was defeated by WWCC earlier this week, dropped from fifth to the tenth.
The Mustangs are on a six-game winning streak and played their final home game on Tuesday. They will make a run for the playoffs with their final remaining four games on the road. They will face Sheridan on Friday and then a showdown for the conference lead with Northwest the following day. On Monday, the team will travel all the way to Twin Falls, Idaho to face the College of Southern Idaho before wrapping up the season in Casper on Oct. 30.
