“ROWDIES: The time has come for me to say goodbye. Western Wyoming Community College, Rock Springs, Green River, Sweetwater County, and the State of Wyoming have been beyond amazing to me and my family the last seven years. The development, mentoring, and relationships have allowed me this opportunity to move on! I will be forever grateful to each of you for every moment we shared.

“The faculty, staff, and students at Western Wyoming are first class. From the early morning workouts (the custodial staff were always so energetic and positive with the team) to the late nights we returned home (the security staff were always so willing to unlock doors and remind the girls how special they are) to every rumble strip, curb, and pole we hit to the police and fire escort back from Montana after we won the Region Championship to packing the gym for every home game making Rushmore the “Toughest Place to Play in Wyoming” to every time you stopped a player at WalMart to thank them for being them to every test – assignment – opportunity given by a professor to learn we were granted while pursuing our dreams and lifelong learning passions, each of you made this place special and most of all made it home.

“Every opportunity is filled with the chance to change lives and make an impact…do not forget to smile at everyone you pass (they need you), lend a hand every chance you get (serving is the greatest gift we have and most rewarding), become the change in your world (do something instead of talking about it), push beyond what is expected (do not accept someone’s place for you – let someone else’s ceiling be your stepping stone), do more with what you got (use what you got to get what you want), and maximize every resource available to become the best you possible (this will make the best world for all).

I love you Western Wyoming and till we meet again – See you soon! Rick Reynolds”
