International Day attendance hits all time high

ROCK SPRINGS – Between 6,000 and 7,000 people attended the festivities during International Day this year. International Day board member and Rock Springs City Councilman David Tate said that beer, soda and t-shirt sales also hit a new record. Tate said that participants at the National High School Finals Rodeo as well as tourists passing through attended the event after hearing about it through local advertising efforts. Tate said this year’s event featured all new acts with the exception of the Irish Punk Band Swagger who performed last year.
