GREEN RIVER – Phil Harder was selected as the Boy’s Tennis Head Coach of the Year by his peers in the Southern Conference.

Coach Harder’s Boy’s Tennis Team finished the season as the No. 2 team in the conference and finished second at this year’s South Regional Tennis Championships.

The Wovles just missed first place, finishing one point behind Laramie High School at the South Regional Tennis Championships hosted by Green River High School.

“Coach Harder has worked hard to provide opportunities for success to both his girl’s and boy’s tennis teams this year,” GRHS Activities Director Tony Beardsley said. “It’s this dedication to the players that Coach Harder serves that has caught the attention from the other coaches in the conference. I’m extremely proud to be associated with such a dedicated and hard working individual.”
