CHEYENNE – Due to fast-approaching application deadlines, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD) encourages trappers to apply online for beaver and marten and hunters to apply online for the Springer and Glendo special pheasant hunts.
The application deadline for trapping beaver and marten is 5 p.m. Sept. 1. The deadline for the Springer and Glendo special pheasant hunts is 5 p.m. Sept. 15. The WGFD’s Electronic Licensing Service will not accept applications after the deadlines.
By applying online before the deadline, hunters and trappers ensure that their applications will be received on-time. Online applications reduce errors, can be processed faster and with less effort, result in expediting drawings and represent significant cost-savings for WGFD.
To apply for the Springer and Glendo special pheasant hunts, visit wgfd.wyo.gov/web2011/HUNTING-1001211.aspx. To apply for the draw for beaver and marten, visit the Electronic Licensing System.
Although paper applications are still being accepted this year, they will be unavailable next year. Paper applications for the special pheasant hunts or to trap beaver or marten, are available here: wgfd.wyo.gov/web2011/hunting-1001082.aspx.
Only applications received before the deadline date will be considered for the draw.
