ROCK SPRINGS – With the Concerts in the Park, Flaming Gorge Days and the fair, residents of Sweetwater County have had some great muisc this summer. There is still one festival to go as the Blues n’ Brews will soon hit Bunning Park.
On Aug. 16 residents can make their way to Bunning Park for a day of music. The festival is put on by the Rock Springs Urban Renewal Agency/Main Street and is their biggest fundraiser of the year with money going back into the beautification of the downtown area.
With an event this big, a lot of volunteers are needed to make it go and URA/Main Street Director Chad Banks is asking for the public’s help.
“We are looking for volunteers throughout the day. Please contact us at 307-352-1434 if you are willing to give a few hours and we’ll let you know what spots we have available,” Banks said. “This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, but also the one that requires the most volunteers – please help if you can.”
Residents can also create a volunteer account online at this link and see the open positions and select where you’d like to help. Go Tto  https://www.downtownrs.com/p/get-involved/190.
