GREEN RIVER – The City of Green River has selected GDA Engineers to complete an Airport Master Plan for the Greater Green River Intergalactic Spaceport. GDA Engineers is an engineering firm specializing in aviation based in Cody, Wyoming. GDA Engineers has completed Airport Master Plans, as well as provided engineering and surveying, for numerous airports in Wyoming and the Rocky Mountain Region. An Airport Master Plan is a comprehensive study of an airport, including short-, medium-, and long-term development plans to meet the future aviation demand of the airport and surrounding community.
Elements typically included in plans are: pre-planning, public involvement, environmental considerations, existing conditions, aviation forecasts, facility requirements, alternative development and evaluation, airport layout plans, facilities implementation plan, and a financial feasibility analysis.
The Airport Master Plan for Green River will have a significant public input component. The public will be notified and invited to attend each meeting, as they are scheduled. All feedback and input is valuable and welcome.
