Daniel Peter Carlson, known as Dan, died at the age of 83 on December 19, 2021, from heart difficulties surrounded by his family at the Pinedale Medical Clinic.
Ruben and Hazel Carlson were the parents of two boys with Dan being the youngest. Dan was born in Pinedale on August 10, 1938, in the house he grew up in.
Dan married Lola Jensen, his high school sweetheart, who together had three girls; Tammie (Tom) Wilson of Cheyenne, Wyoming; Dana (Chuck) Sykes of Rock Springs, Wyoming, and Debbie (Chuck) Radosevich of Rock Springs, Wyoming.
After Lola’s death, Dan remarried Pamela Price who had two girls of her own; Kim (Don) Glenn and Suzi Caudill.
Dan is survived by his wife Pam and his immediate family including Dana, Tammie, Debbie along with grandkids; Jenna (Josten) Sherratt, Jared (Ashley) Radosevich, Jeremy (Stephanie) Sykes, Niki Wolverton, Laura Wilson with (Heath Kaston) and several great grand kids and nieces and nephews.
Dan is preceded in death by his first wife Lola Carlson, baby Carlson, parents Bob and Hazel, brother Bob Carlson, nephew Bruce Carlson, granddaughters Christy Sykes and Sarah Wilson Zacharias Carlson.
Dan trusted other people; a handshake sealed the deal. He was the most caring, patient and understanding individual that others grew to respect.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
