ROCK SPRINGS — Eastside Elementary is once again hosting Digital Citizenship Family Night on Wednesday, November 11th for the 3rd consecutive year.
As in the past we are partnering with WWCC, RSPD, PMO (Prevention Management Organization) and Pilot Butte Elementary to present information to parents and students about the safe, responsible and respectful use of technology.
Along with Eastside’s principal Brent McMurtrey, Jennifer Allen from the college is the powerhouse behind this event.
She recognized the importance of this topic when her son started at Eastside.
She is also involved in teaching about technology at the college and is a proponent of educating our community – especially parents and young people – about the safe, responsible and respectful use of technology.
The schedule for Nov. 11th Digital Citizenship Family Night:
5:30-6:30 – chili cook-off
6:30-7:30 – welcome and sessions
7:30-8:30 – questions, dessert (provided by Pilot Butte student council).
For more information, please contact Teresa Klatka, Eastside’s school counselor at 307-352-3425.
