GREEN RIVER – Trees are now available to reserve along Uinta Drive and decorate for the holidays at the Green River Chamber of Commerce. The fee is $35 per tree. Only a limited number of trees are available so act fast! They are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. The trees will have a stake with a corresponding number near the base, so you can drive by, pick out the one you would like, and tell us which tree you want! This is a wonderful way to not only help beautify our community for the holidays, but it also provides an opportunity to promote your business!

Trees on Uinta need to be decorated with small lights only. You may also have a sign no larger than 24″ x 24″ next to the tree. NO ornaments, ribbon, garland, or other decorations are allowed. You will not be allowed to start decorating your tree until November 15th, but it must be decorated by December 5th. All lights must be removed from the trees by January 6th, 2014 or a $50.00 fee will be charged. A traveling trophy and cash will be presented to the best decorated tree during the Lunch and Learn on December 18th at noon at China Garden. Cash and prizes will be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd placing trees.
