SWEETWATER COUNTY – As local families prepare to give thanks on Thursday, Rock Springs and Green River are reminding residents about trash pickup changes.
For Green River, Wednesday and Thursday’s trash will be picked up on Wednesday, November 25. Friday and Monday’s trash will be picked up on Monday, November 30.
The Green River Landfill will be closed on Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27. It will be open on Saturday, November 28th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For Rock Springs, trash collection will be delayed one day following Thanksgiving. The Rock Springs landfill will only be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
The Ray Lovato Recycling Center will be closed both Thursday and Friday. They will be open until 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
