
GREEN RIVER — Harold “Dean” Braden, 83, of Green River, Wyoming, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the Castle Rock Convalescent Center. A life long resident of Green River, Mr. Braden died following a lengthy illness.
He was born on February 22, 1931 in Green River, Wyoming.
Mr. Braden attended schools in Green River and was a Green River High School graduate with the Class of 1949.
He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II.
Mr. Braden worked as a Car Man for the Union Pacific Railroad for many years.
His interests included watching all sports on television and gambling.
He was a member of Fraternal Order of the Eagles #2351 in Green River, Wyoming and American Legion Post 36 in Fort Bridger, Wyoming.
Survivors include one brother David Braden of Concho, Arizona and one sister Shirley Roitz of Fort Bridger, Wyoming; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers Don Braden, Howard Braden and Francis Braden; two sisters Bernice and Barbara Alice.
Graveside Services and Military Honors will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the Riverview Cemetery in Green River, Wyoming.
