ROCK SPRINGS – Are you ready to get your skate on?
The Rock Springs Family Recreation Center Ice Arena will open tomorrow, Wed. Oct. 22. Registration will also soon begin for lessons and hockey.
Registration for November ice skating lessons and hockey will be held beginning at 5 a.m. on Monday, October 27. Students must be four years old to take lessons. Ages for beginning junior hockey are 10-years-old to 17-years-old.
The city passed on a special thanks to Ken Reed and Larry Elder for their hard work in getting things up and running in the ice arena.

Public skate schedule for the rest of the month is as follows:
Oct. 22 – 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Oct. 23 – 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Oct. 24 – 1:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Oct. 25 – 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Oct. 26 – 1 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Oct. 27 – 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Oct. 28 – 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Oct. 29 – 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
