At The Radio Network & SweetwaterNOW an account executive is responsible for consulting with clients, and tailoring our advertising services to best help their businesses. Your job is to sell radio, digital, video and other products to our clients to help them bring in more business. The better job we do advertising the businesses that use our services, the better they do and the better we do. A great account executive is the driving force behind making our clients registers ring.

Account executives facilitate the exchange of information between The Radio Network/SweetwaterNOW and local businesses, and when the clients have demands, the account executive takes care of them. Account executives must be on top of the timing of every client on their list in order to meet crucial broadcast deadlines.
Advertising Account Executive Duties & Responsibilities
There's no typical day in advertising. This industry experiences daily—if not hourly—challenges and emergencies. But a typical working month for an advertising account executive will usually include the following duties:

• Meet with clients.
• Present findings to Sales Manager
• Discuss projects with clients.
• Write and record scripts for radio.
• Formulate marketing strategies.
• Present creative work to clients.
• Write Contracts and Schedules for broadcast
• Day-to-day administration duties.
• Maintain productive visit/call schedule for all accounts
• Make yourself aware of customer's promotional/sales schedules and provide comprehensive advertising support
• Make yourself aware of customer's advertising needs, also what methods work and why, what doesn't work and why
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding account information
• Take responsibility for correct ads on air at all times, maintains start/end dates on all ads in automation/network system
• Maintain co-op and change orders in a timely fashion to insure correct billing
• Maintain organized files on all accounts
• Participate in meetings
• Other duties as assigned

Job requirements: A keen ability to multitask keeps everything running smoothly. A great deal depends on the accurate and insightful interpretation of clients' wishes and goals, and transmitting that information to the appropriate staff within The Radio Network. Must have reliable transportation.
