ROCK SPRINGS — On July 26, 2014, Special Agents from the Division of Criminal Investigation, Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET) and the Sweetwater County Sheriff Office, served numerous Federal Arrest Warrants for Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Heroin which resulted in Death. These charges stem from an eighteen month multi state DCI investigation into the Distribution of Heroin in the Sweetwater County Area. The following subjects were arrested as a result of the indictment.
Wayne Bailey, resident of West Jordan Utah, age 39. Count I: Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Heroin which resulted in Death.
Isaac Trey Johnson, resident of West Jordan, Utah, age 25, Count I: Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Heroin which resulted in Death.
Kara Harper, Jamestown resident, age 31. Count I: Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Heroin which resulted in Death.
Jessica Fife, Rock Springs Resident, age 29. Count I: Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Heroin which resulted in Death.
Skyeler Ian French, Rock Springs Resident, age 28. Count I: Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Heroin which resulted in Death.
Andrew James Ebert, Rock Springs Resident, age 27. Count I: Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Heroin which resulted in Death.
Erik Michael Styles, Rock Springs Resident, age 27. Count I: Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Heroin which resulted in Death.
Darren Olson Rock Springs Resident, age 27. Count I: Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Heroin which resulted in Death.
Over the past eighteen months, the DCI, SWET has worked with local area Law Enforcement agencies including the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office, Rock Springs and Green River Police Departments on the investigation.
Law Enforcement would like to encourage the public to continue to provide information in a timely manner when they suspect someone engaging in illegal drug activity such as the use and distribution of drugs. The Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET) is comprised of Agents from the Division of Criminal Investigation, Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office, Uinta County Sheriff’s Office, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Sublette County Sheriff’s Office, Green River Police Department and Evanston Police Department.
It should be noted that these charges are merely an accusation and that the subjects charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
