ROCK SPRINGS – If you are looking for tricks and tips for training your dog, drop by an upcoming program at the library.
Paula Cooke from Wyoming K-9 Training Academy will be presenting a dog training program at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 12 at Rock Springs Library, 400 C Street.
During the program, Cooke will talk about the dos and don’ts of dog training. She will also bring a dog with her and demonstrate clicker training. Cooke asks that those in attendance not bring their own dogs.
Cooke is the owner and founder of Wyoming K-9 Training Academy. She is a certified master dog trainer and certified in kennel management. The academy offers a variety of training methods to help make any dog be the best that they can be.
The academy also trains dogs to become professionals in search and rescue, tracking, narcotics detection, arson detection, and bed bug and termite detection. The academy will assist pet owners to help them determine if that’s the appropriate path for their dogs.
