Meal Planning for Busy Lifestyles on April 9 at Rock Springs Library

ROCK SPRINGS – Do you find it hard to eat healthfully, especially when you have a lot on your “plate”? If so, the Sweetwater County Library System has a class for you.

Meal Planning for Busy Lifestyles is the first of a series of nutrition classes called Bringing Nutrition to the Rock that will held at Rock Springs Library, 400 C Street. The one-hour presentation will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 9. Those attending the class will hear about simple changes from menu planning to grocery shopping to help you get on your way to a healthier lifestyle.

The nutrition series of classes will be held monthly at the library. All classes will be taught by nutrition experts from the University of Wyoming Extension Office and Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. The instructor for the first class is being taught by Stephanie Peterman, a clinical dietician at the hospital.

Registration for each class is required. To register for the first class, drop by Rock Springs Library, or call 352-6667.

The dates for the other classes will be May 28, June 18, July 16, August 20, September 17, October 15, November 19 and December 17. All classes will be at 5:30 p.m.
