ROCK SPRINGS — Audiences of all ages will get a fresh look at an age-old favorite this Saturday January 31, 2015 when the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and more than 50 local students present “The Little Mermaid”.
The local cast features Ariana Kuhn as the Little Mermaid, Celia. Also featured are her three sisters, Delia, Amelia and Ophelia who will be played by Skie Berg, Alyssa Smith and Sabrina Bush. Gil, the Merboy next door will be played by Nathan Martinez and the country singin’ Starfish will be played by Sydnee Harris. The Royal family includes Darrien Sherwood as the Prince, Alex Carrier as the King and Savannah Cheney as the Queen.
The snoopy Seasiders will be played by Emily DeBernardi, Kami Bennett, Corynn Bell, Mikayla Dimick, Danica Sherwood, Chrissa Kersey, Emily Wilkie, Autumn Horn, Molly Beard, Marae Faler, Adoria Hoyt, Faron Capozzoli, Lucy Leveck and Marissa Ruiz.
To complete the ensemble, Daisy Combs, Joey Saavedra, Lillian Woolsey, Mia Wells, Zach Larson, Kaleb Cheney, Kevin Mitchell and Jaden Godines will appear as the poetic Town Criers, the dynamic Sea Scouts include Makiya Olsen, Gaige Olsen, Hudson Garner, Sydnee Franks, Hanna Lathrop, Kayleigh Prime, Kaitlyn Thompson, Adisyn Allen, TruAnne Berg, Wyatt Combs, Emma Fahrnkopf and MacKenzie Dimick and the galloping Seahorses will be played by Lynnzie Bennett, Taylor Hunt, Kylee Davis, Jason Godfrey, Lydian Woolsey, Alyssa Brown, Lilia Faudoa, Eliza Spencer, Kylie Miller, Griffen Garner, Jackson Wall, Layton Nations and Zachary Godines.
THE LITTLE MERMAID will be presented at 5:30 PM at the Rock Springs High School Theatre Tickets are $2.00 each and are available at Walnut School and at the door. (All proceeds go to help bring Missoula Children’s Theatre back again next year.)
