Missoula Children’s Theatre presents ‘The Pied Piper’

ROCK SPRINGS — What do you do when your town is overrun by ravenous rats? You call the Pied Piper! Take a trip to Hamelin Town this Saturday, June 14th with the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and 49 local students as they perform an original musical adaptation of the classic tale, “The Pied Piper”.

The local cast features Rikki Mortensen as the Pied Piper, Payton Sweet as Sara, and Domanic Sherwood and Jessica Higgs as the Mayor’s Son and Daughter. Also featured are Hanna Crockett, Jayda Estep, Gabby Mitchell, Lillie DeVree, Destiny Britton and Aubree Ellas as the Mayor’s Council and Chloe Sweet, Bela Dittman, Kylie Mortensen, Elijah Gines, Jaxon Smith, Isabelle Coon, Donovan Green and Jadyn Fernandez as the Cooks. To complete the ensemble, Ariana Kuhn, Amber Gambles, Shane Meats, Edvan Ruiz, Catie Spann, Kelsey Crockett, Mourgan Lenling, Savannah Cheney, Autumn Jensen, Maggie Smith, Eli Coon, Matthew Johnson, Faron Capozzoli, Joshua Odogwu, Lydeah Harvey, Paris Bowen, Hanna Lathrop, Sydnee Harris, Jo Heavin and Dawson Fantin will appear as the Townskids of Hamelin, and Hannah Jorgensen, Madison Leavitt, Corynn Bell, Cedar Harper, Eliza Spencer, Jackson Wall, Griffen Garner, Kylee Davis, Abby Crockett, Kaleb Cheney and Marshall Bowen play the troublesome Rats. Tristan Miles is the assistant director.

“The Pied Piper” will be presented at 5:30pm on June 14th at the Rock Springs High School. Admission is FREE and open to the public courtesy of SBOCES.
