ROCK SPRINGS – A new Rock Springs business was welcomed to the community on Friday night as Great Clips had its official ribbon cutting.
Located near the Family Dollar Store, Great Clips is open seven days a week. Monday through Friday, residents can come in for a variety of services from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. On Saturday hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. while on Sunday the doors are open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Local manager Jamie Hamilton said Great Clips is strictly walk in, but residents can download the Great Clips app and see what current wait times are. Checking wait times might not be that necessary as Hamilton explained Great Clips prides itself on quick service.
All stylists are licensed and they not only do haircuts but also styles and perms.
Chamber CEO Dave Hanks said it gives residents another option and competition is good for residents. He explained a choice of different products and services just adds to the community.
During the ceremony, Great Clips Senior Manager Charidy Royer summed up her experience opening a new salon in Rock Springs.
“Rock Springs has been absolutely welcoming,” Royer said. “You guys rock. Rock Springs rocks.”
Great Clips is running a special of $4.99 haircuts through next week. They also have reloadable Great Clips gift cards for $9.99 through the month of December.
