PINEDALE — Summer is in full swing and many people are making their way to the beautiful Wind River Mountain Range.
The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office is encouraging hikers, campers and backpackers to submit a wilderness check-in form with their office before going into the back country.
“It helps Tip Top Search and Rescue know where to start searching should you encounter an emergency or don’t return on time,” said SCSO Public Information Officer Travis Bingham.

Outdoorsmen can submit directly on the new app or find the form on the Sublette County Sheriff’s Department website at https://www.sublettewyo.com/439/Wilderness.
