ROCK SPRINGS — Young at Heart Center will be hosting the 35th Annual Oktoberfest on Friday and Saturday, October 17th and 18th at the Sweetwater County Events Complex.
This year’s event will feature traditional favorite bands EIO Band and the Sundowners, as well as the Legendary Ramblin Band, who made their debut at last year’s event.
This is an event for the entire family with dancing, concession style food, prizes, and a kid’s entertainment area.
Oktoberfest is Young at Heart Center’s largest fundraiser and enables the center to match funds for grants.
Tickets will go on sale at Young at Heart Center, and the Rock Springs and Green River Chambers of Commerce on Tuesday, September 2.
Tables can be reserved for either one or both nights and this can be done by calling Young at Heart. In addition, the center is looking for volunteers and anyone interested in volunteering can contact Jamie J. Lee, Marketing/Special Events Coordinator at Young at Heart.
