ROCK SPRINGS – As winter creeps in and the work week seems to drag on, everyone is looking for a little escape. Some may enjoy a cool adult beverage after a long day, some a hot bowl of homemade chili and others the love of a four-legged friend. Put it all together and you have an event at the Liquor Depot this Thursday.
On Thursday, Oct. 17 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., the Liquor Depot will be hosting a chili tasting. The Pale Ale Store and the Club of Cask & Keg have been growing interest in the community about home brewing. Along with the chili, there will be a beer tasting event featuring local home brews.
All to benefit the Red Desert Humane Society.
The cover charge is a monetary donation or pet product donation to the Red Desert Humane Society. Melinda Bass said if residents bring pet products they are asking for kitty litter, specifically kitten and puppy food, and C and D batteries. They are also asking for any donation for their birthday party this Saturday.
Come down to Liquor Depot on Thursday, October 17th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm
The Red Desert Humane Society will celebrate their birthday with the public this Saturday at 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the shelter. Also if residents would like to bring their pets to the liquor depot event, they are welcome as long as the animals are on a leash.
