SWEETWATER COUNTY — Contestants began checking into the National High School Finals Rodeo today and were met by volunteers from the community.

During last year’s National High school Finals Rodeo, 471 volunteers donated 5,046 hours. This year’s event will take place July 13-19, however, the volunteers begin working on July 1.

During the Finals itself, volunteers check-in horses, contestants, and RV’s as well as sell tickets, collect tickets, and help with information booths.
