Red Cross Assisting Two Families in Big Piney After House Fire

The Red Cross of Wyoming is assisting two families displaced by a fire at their home in Big Piney yesterday morning.

BIG PINEY — Red Cross of Wyoming is assisting two families after a single structure fire in Big Piney, WY.

The fire on 12th Street occurred yesterday morning and displaced two adults and two children, according to James Lenell Ledwith, Disaster Program Manager for Southern Wyoming.

Its unclear at this time what caused the fire as it remains under investigation by the Big Piney Fire Department.

Assistance was provided for lodging and other immediate needs to the family. Further assistance will be provided as needed, said Ledwith.
