RED DESERT — The Outdoor Council’s line-up of Red Desert field trips this summer is extensive. All are free and open to the public. Organizers provide expert discussions on natural and cultural history for the areas the trips visit. The participants need to be self-sufficient in terms of transportation, food, and water. The field trips are diverse: hikes, camping trips, driving tours, and a photography workshop.
