ROCK SPRINGS — The Red Desert Roundup Rodeo Parade will be this Saturday, July 30th at 10:00 a.m. beginning near the intersection of B and Broadway Street. This year, there will be unusual traffic demands this year with the Belt Loop at Center Street Bridge being under construction.
Many visitors are used to leaving the parade towards the middle of the parade or directly after it is over. With the Belt Loop Bridge closed, much of that traffic will be attempting to utilize the A Street Overpass, or the M Street Underpass while the parade is still proceeding. Both routes will be closed until the parade is completed.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead for alternate departure routes for this year’s parade or anticipate delays leaving the downtown area.
