ROCK SPRINGS – Night after night, we all watch horrific events which happen nationwide and often are left to wonder what would happen if it hit home. The tragedies which involve the young and innocent affect us all the most as we are often left wondering why.
While the legal process is moving forward on alleged charges, on the other side of the spectrum, there is still a feeling of loss throughout the entire community for 4-month-old Susan Triplett who tragically lost her life. To help remember Susan and fill the hole in the community’s heart, there will be a candlelit vigil tonight at the Family Justice Center, 725 C St. The vigil will start at 7 p.m.
Fox Funeral Home is handling the funeral services and recently announced there would only be a private family service. The vigil, hosted by the Family Justice Center and the YWCA is a way for the public to remember Susan.
A poster for the vigil has been circulating with a quote by A.A. Milne which seems to hit home the hardest.
“Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.”
