Roosevelt Learning Center and Community Fine Arts Center team up for yarn project

ROCK SPRINGS — With the help of the Community Fine Arts Center staff and Director Debora Soule, students at Roosevelt Learning Center have been able to do art projects through out the year. Recently they have worked on a “yarn bombing ” project. The students first learned to crochet. After that they each crocheted a pattern of their choice. Once all the patterns were complete; they hung all the patterns on the fence of the school.

Brian Arargon who works at the School said, “Wow, have those patterns enhanced our school and instilled a certain amount of pride in our student  body. Since then other anonymous persons have shared their creations and also hung patterns on the fence, which we invite, approve, and appreciate. We invite you to come to our school (440 Dewar Dr 307-362-6525) and see for yourself this wonderful project that has taken on a life of it’s own.”
