ROCK SPRINGS – On the wall in the Rock Springs Council Chambers hangs a plaque. On this plaque is a list of names of men and women from this community who have served this nation. On Tuesday, the council added a name to the list.

Morgan Ferguson was recognized for his service. He has just finished his training to be a military police officer in Missouri and is headed to Ft. Riley, Kansas, for his first assignment.

Rock Springs Mayor Carl Demshar thanked Ferguson for his service adding its because of the service of these young men and women, residents enjoy the freedoms they do.

If anyone knows of a resident who has served in the armed forces and should be recognized by the city contact Rock Springs City Hall.

“It is always a pleasure to do these presentations,” the Mayor said.
