“Come sit over here with us,” one child said. “What are all these adults doing in here today?” another one asked. The Wyoming School Facilities Commission and Department personnel joined students at Rendezvous Elementary and Superintendent Terry Snyder for lunch today in the Snake Bites lunchroom. While the smaller Rattlers were lining up for lunch, members of the SFC were deciding on tacos or a piece of chicken with mashed potatoes as they went through the line. Then they finished the lunch line at the fruit and salad bar.
The SFC is holding a work session this afternoon at the FCSD#25 Central Office Board Room in advance of their regular meeting Thursday, but this morning they were treated to a tour of local school district facilities. Snyder took the group around to see projects the SFC had funded, and to show them other areas of need within the district (See that story here).
And the SFC personnel in Riverton today appeared to favor the taco lunch.
