SWEETWATER COUNTY — A sandbagging station is open on Community Park Drive. You can collect sandbags there or volunteer to help out filling and distributing them. Sublette County has dispatched a sandbag filling machine to help automate the process it is expected to have arrived at 2:00 p.m.
According to NWS spokesman Ralph Estell, there is a 50 percent chance of scattered rain and thunderstorms for Wednesday. As evening approaches, Estell said this increases to 60 percent. Currently, Estell said this drops to 40 percent on Thursday.
There is a band of moisture headed into the area from the southwest which could impact the area later tonight according to Estell.
The Downtown Farmer’s Market has been cancelled.
