GREEN RIVER — The Sweetwater County School District No. 2 Nutrition Services Department has announced the free summer food program which will be offered June 1 through July 30.
Everyone 18 years old and younger can eat for free through this summer meal program. Additionally, adults can purchase a meal for $4.
Meal pick up will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at all locations. Locations include Monroe Elementary, Truman Elementary, Washington Elementary, and Harrison Elementary.
Monroe Elementary pick up will be at the back of the building inside the cafeteria. Truman pick up will be in the cafeteria. To pick up at Washington, people are asked to use the door in the small parking lot and go to the cafeteria. At Harrison, people can pick up by using the back door off the playground.
Parents are welcome to come and sit down and eat with their kids at Truman and Monroe. Both breakfast and lunch will be given. Harrison and Washington are pick-up sites only.
Weekend meals will be given out on Friday.
