PINEDALE — The search for a missing Pinedale man, Rick De Ruiter Zylker, who was last seen swimming in Fremont Lake on Wednesday, continued today but officials still haven’t located him, according to the most recent update from the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office.

Tip Top Search and Rescue boat “Closure” completed scanning the initial search box, and started a second search box further to the north of Moosehead Bay.

“So far, the search area has covered over 18 acres of Fremont Lake in and around the Moosehead Bay area,” the press release states.

“A witness who was operating the boat the day the incident occurred, agreed to come back out on the tri-toon in an attempt to retrace the boats tracks,” according to the release.

Frustration was evident with the crew after docking the boats this evening, but efforts will continue through the week, again, focusing on the rock outcroppings and boulder fields. Yesterday’s search included two dog teams from Jackson Hole and Driggs, ID.
