ROCK SPRINGS – Creativity can manifest itself in different ways through many different skills. One program which continues to bring the best out of local students is the Young Author Program.
This year, Sweetwater County School District No. 1 had close to 370 students participate. The students that have placed in the top 3 in fiction, non-fiction and poetry have been selected and invited to the Young Author Celebration.
The festivities are on Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. at the Rock Springs Junior High Auditorium. At the celebration, the students will learn what place they took and receive their award.
