The Society of Petroleum Engineers’ Trap Shootout will raise scholarship funds for local students by letting teams shoot trap for awards!

How to Play

• A 4 person team rotates through 5 stations with 5 targets per station.
• The team average score dictates handicap (distance from traps) for second round.
• The totals combined 1st and 2nd round scores are ranked.

All competition is completed and firearms are securely stored before alcoholic beverages can be brought out.

Friday, August 31st 2018

Practice Rounds: 7:30 a.m (at cost), Registration 7 a.m. competition starts at 9 a.m.

Registration

Team Registration $400 per 4 person team.

Sponsorship: Gold–$400, Silver–$300, Bronze–$200 Raffle Tickets $10 each

Sponsors are accepted for the following areas: Food and Refreshments, Raffles, and
Competition Games. Sponsors will be recognized at the event.

• Fees for 4 team members
• Targets for 2 Five Station Rounds
• Food and Refreshments
• 4 raffle tickets per team
• Team and Individual Awards (1,2,3)
• Shells available for purchase at club (12 and 20 gauge)

Proceeds

The SPE is a non-profit organization that promotes and sponsors oil and gas industry related programs, events, and education. The Rock Springs Chapter will be offering scholarships to local students entering into a petroleum related education which are matched by SPE International.
