The second presentation is A Grand Tour of the Solar System and Beyond, which will be at 6:30 p.m.  Wednesday, May 4 at the Sweetwater County Library, 300 N. 1st East in Green River. The presentation will include a virtual journey of the Sun, planets, their moons and the debris left over from the earliest times of the solar system.

Both programs are for the whole family. Following both presentations, a powerful telescope will be set up outdoors to view craters on the moon, the rings of Saturn and other objects in night sky, weather permitting.

Along with working as a consultant for NASA, Manning was both a Wright Fellow and an Einstein Fellow, and did some work with Brookhaven National Laboratory. Manning has presented numerous workshops over the years at libraries, observatories, and science centers.  Kevin founded Look Up to the Stars with a mission to generate interest and foster scientific literacy nationwide through the delivery of awe-inspiring, educational and entertaining programs.

These programs are sponsored by the Sweetwater County Library System.
