ALTA — On August 9, 2014, a 2009 Turner 5 Spot All-Mountain Bike was stolen from a bike rack off the back of a vehicle from Grand Targhee Resort in Alta, Wyoming. Suspect(s) damaged the locking mechanism that was used to secure the bicycle. The bike is dark grey with blue accents and a gold front fork/shocks with the brand FOX visible.
Over the course of several months there have been multiple thefts of bicycles in Teton County, specifically in the vicinity of Teton Village and Jackson. Many bicycles have been stolen off mounted racks on vehicles. The Teton County Sheriff’s Office is seeking any information regarding stolen bicycles. Crimestoppers offers rewards of up to $5,000 for information leading up to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the thefts.
